Cadets run Race for Life in aid of Cancer Research
By CI Kevin Heywood, MCO 750 Sqn
Air Cadets from Thorne and Goole Squadrons joined 3,000 other women and girls to run the Doncaster Race for Life event on 24 June at Town Fields.
The girls who were dressed in pink, managed to avoid the heavy showers that had fallen overnight. They were taking part in the event for the first time.
Every two minutes, someone in the UK is told they have cancer. Race for Life raises valuable funds to aid research into this disease. To sponsor the cadets, please click here (opens in new window).
