Goole Cadets Build Upon Success

Goole Air Cadets are flying high, after attaining 2 first places and a 4thplace in the South and West Yorkshire Wing aero modelling Competition. The competition sees the 33 Squadrons in the Wing compete to see who can produce the best model aircraft.
The competition is broken down into 3 age groups, resulting in a maximum of 99 models to judge. Goole were placed 1st in the 15-16 and 17+ age groups and were placed 4th in the 13-14 age group. This built upon a first place in the previous year’s competition.
Sergeant (ATC) Mick Caunter, of Goole Squadron, said “It was fantastic to do so well in the competition” he continued “The cadets were up against some very good models, to win 2 out of 3 categories was great”.
