COMMANDING OFFICER'S COMMENDATION

Cpl Louis Greaves of 2357 Goole Squadron recently received the Commanding Officers Commendation for good initiative whilst doing his practice Bronze D of E expedition.

Flt Lt Paul Clarke said, “Cpl Greaves showed good initiative during the final leg of his Bronze D of E Expedition when one of his team started showing early stages of hypothermia, he led his team to shelter to give the cadet protection from the elements and whilst another member of the team covered him with a survival blanket he rang for aid” Flt Lt Paul Clarke followed on, “It is heartening to see that time and training invested in the cadets is time and effort well spent and it makes me very proud to be part of 2357 Goole Air Cadets.” Cpl Louis Greaves was a cadet during this expedition and has just recently been promoted to Corporal”.
