On Saturday 04th June 2016 cadets and staff from 2505 (Bishop Auckland) Squadron Royal Air Force Air Cadets joined with ex-cadets, parents and invited guests to mark 75 years of the Air Cadets.
The guest of honour, Vice Lord Lieutenant of County Durham, Alasdair MacConachie, O.B.E., D.L, inspected the squadron before the service. The service was led by Father R. Cadet Abigail Charlton (13) from Shildon said, “It was a real honour to meet the Lord Lieutenant, the service at St Peter’s Chapel is an event I will never forget”.
