On Sunday the 7th of February the 148 (Barnsley) Squadron band and cadets went to Doncaster to celebrate the 75th anniversary of the Air Training Corps (ATC).
The Squadron band was given the privilege of leading the parade took us around Doncaster town centre finishing with a service at Doncaster Minster. The band played well even though it was very cold and berets were flying around! There were over 1,000 Cadets and staff on parade from the whole of The South and West Yorkshire wing which was an amazing turn out for such a prestigious event which despite the the cold and windy conditions was extremely enjoyable.
Congratulations to all the cadets, staff and all those who turned out for the parade it was very impressive and every single person should be proud to say they attended a once in a life time anniversary.
