On Thursday 10th December, four members of 2505 (Bishop Auckland) Squadron of Royal Air Force Air Cadets were awarded provisional radio operators certificates.
Having completed a basic training programme, which included learning about call signs, the phonetic alphabet and the radios safe use, the four cadets went on to operate the radios in the correct manner during practical exercises.
One of the new provisional radio operators, Cadet Lewis Rodda (14) said "Learning about and using the radios correctly is great fun".
