Huddersfield's shooting team celebrated another podium finish in the Bunting Trophy, a long-range competition where competitors shoot 100 metres away from the target.
The team, consisting of captain Cadet Amber Walker, Corporal Zach Adams, and Cadet Kishan Mistry were pipped for first place by 367 (South Sheffield). The individual competition was won by Cadet Walker, the difference coming down to having just a single millimetre larger grouping from her shots. Cadet Walker was also awarded a Wing Marksman Badge.
Huddersfield's Commanding Officer, Flight Lieutenant Gillian Halman, said "This has been a great year of the newly formed squadron team. They have won two out of three Wing competitions and finished second in the latest. They are also through to the second round of the Battle of Britain postal competition. They continue to improve with every practice session."
