750 (Thorne) Squadron had a hectic evening recently as friends and families attended to witness the official enrolment of seven new cadets into the Air Training Corps.
On Tuesday 27th October, the squadron held a special parade to officially enrol seven new cadets into the Air Training Corps. Friends and families of the new cadets were welcomed to the squadron to witness Officer Commanding Flight Lieutenant Andrew Emms present the new cadets with their personal cadet record, commonly known as the ‘little blue book’.
After the parade, parents were given the opportunity to speak to the squadron staff and gain a better insight into exactly what it means to be an Air Cadet.
Now that they are enrolled, the cadets have a world of opportunity available to them, whether it be taking the controls in a Grob Tutor aircraft, attending overseas camps or competing in sports competitions, there is always something new and exciting on the horizon.
The Squadron is constantly expanding, so whether you’re aged 12 or 55, if you’re looking for a new and exciting hobby don’t hesitate to get in touch for more information!
