On the 28th of February 2015 along with Corporal Callum Taylor and Cadet Lewis Hamer I attended the Wing Technical Skills Radio Course.
The course was a module that counts towards the Communicator Badge which is a badge highly sought after by most Cadets in the ATC.
We were all greeted by Flt Lt A. Owen (The Wing Radio Officer) who taught us the many varieties of complex radio physics including FM and AM radio waves, then a practical of rewiring plugs and creating UHF radio masts from a piece of copper wire.
Overall the group had fun and we were all thrilled to have passed the course and to be a step closer to gaining the Communicator Badge. Thanks to all the staff for running such an excellent course!
