A damp and grey Sunday morning saw several Crowle Air Cadets helping out at the Crowle Show by providing car parking assistance.
The local show is run every year and attracts a lot of people from the local community. There is a dog show, horse trials, craft stalls, produce competitions and other attractions. Despite the damp conditions at times, the local Air Cadets were on hand to assist with marshalling and parking cars throughout the day.
Flight Lieutenant J Docherty, Officer Commanding Crowle Air Cadets, said “Despite the occasionally damp weather, the cadets really put a lot of effort and work into today. It is great to see them out and helping in the local community”.
Community events are just some of the many activities Crowle Squadron offers to its members, both cadets and staff. Air Cadets is a youth organisation open to anyone aged 13-17. It is also open to those over 20 who wish to join as a staff and assist in the running of such events.
