Air Cadets Represent Goole at Normandy D Day Celebrations

During the recent D Day Remembrance Parade at Normandy recently, 6 Air Cadets from 2357 (Goole) Squadron were very proud to attend representing the youth of Goole.During their stay as well as the memorial service they visited many D Day landmarks including D Day Academy, Overlord Museum, D Day landing beaches – Omaha, Utah, Sword, Junor & Gold, also, Pegasus Bridge and the Arromanches. Cdt Ethan Bowes said “I was very proud to represent 2357 (Goole) Squadron all the time I was in Normandy, especially on D Day itself whilst we were in Arromanches Parading in front of Royalty”.
