High Flyers at Bishop Auckland Air Cadets

Three Royal Air Force Air Cadets from 2505 (Bishop Auckland) Squadron have achieved their BTEC Level 2 in Public Services passing with distinction. The BTEC is awarded through the Cadet Vocational Qualifications Organisation. For almost two years the cadets have studied tirelessly passing examinations in a range of subjects including navigation, volunteering and public services in order to achieve the awards, which were presented at the Reserve Forces Centre in Bishop Auckland on Thursday 26th June.
The three cadets were Cadet Sergeant Dominic Edwards (17) from Spennymoor, Cadet Corporal Sean Tague (16) from Bishop Auckland and Cadet Corporal Connor Maguire (17) from Shildon
One BTEC holder, Cadet Sergeant Dominic Edwards (17 years) from Spennymoor (pictured) said “All Air Cadets should work towards their BTEC awards, I am sure it will help me achieving my chosen career”.
