2 Crowle Air cadets recently braved the cold weather to take part in the South and West Yorkshire Wing Cross Country competition.  Despite being a member short of a whole team, the 2 cadets still managed to come 12th in their age category.

Cadet Brennan and Cadet Corporal Taylor participated in the Youths race, open to all male cadets aged 15-17 year old.  After completing the gruelling 3 mile cross country course, their combined positions placed them 12th in their age category.  Overall the 2 cadets achieved 17th place in the overall male category and 20th in the Wing as a whole, beating 13 other Squadrons.

Flying Officer V Docherty, 2nd in command at Crowle said “It was a cold day, but the cadets were in high spirits and their effort showed” She continued “To get 12th in their age group was fantastic and 20th overall was a real bonus.”
