On Saturday 7th December, the current and previous intakes of Probationary Cadets visited the Yorkshire Air Museum as part of their First Class Training. The museum is on the former World War II RAF Bomber Command Station at Elvington, York. It houses 15 top class exhibitions and over 60 historic aircraft and vehicles.
The museum’s huge range of exhibits and collections spans the entire history of flight, from the early pioneers of aviation, through both world wars and on through the Cold War era, and a visit is an ideal way for the Cadets to support their studying of the History of Flight element of their First Class Training.
The visit was enjoyed by both Cadets and Staff and it will become a regular feature of the training programme.
