The eighth of November saw 80 (Bolton) Squadron celebrate remembrance day and also a historic presentation. Recently Ex-Corporal Barrie Morgan of 80 Squadron RAF got in contact with the Squadron staff in order to make a presentation.

On Tuesday 6th October 80 Squadron hosted a talk made by Greater Manchester Police on Proactive Policing. The talk was delivered by PC J Evans and PC D Kerr. PC Evans is an ex-80 Squadron Cadet and together with PC Kerr are Army Reservists.

 80 Squadron Welcomes New Staff

During the New Staff Night and Presentation hosting by Greater Manchester Wing on the 30th September. Two of the Squadrons Civilian Instructors received their certificates of appointment to the role. The presentation was made by Wing Commander D Archibald RAFVR(T) in front of gathered staff from throughout the wing. CI C Lee and CI K Mannion were appointed as Honorary Civilian Instructors.

Cadet Corporal Wood'S a Lifesaver!

Well done to Cadet Corporal Ethan Wood of 80 (Bolton) Squadron who saved his father's life. Corporal Wood arrived home from a day out with friends recently to find his father, aged just 41, having a heart-attack.

On Friday 18 October 2013, 80 (Bolton) Squadron held its annual presentation evening in the adjoining TA Centre. This was an opportunity for cadets and their families, staff, Civilian Committee and friends of the Squadron to come together to celebrate a year's worth of many, many achievements.
