110 (City of York) Squadron Band supported the scouting movement in celebrating St George’s Day in York on Sunday 27th April. They led one of the contingents of Scouts, Cubs, Beavers and Sea Scouts on their parade from York Minster where they had held a service, to the Eye of York (Clifford's Tower). Hundreds upon hundreds of young people took part in representing the many scouting units in the York area. Just how many can be seen in the photograph of a very small light blue presence. The parade was attended by Lord Crathorne, the Lord Lieutenant of North Yorkshire, the Lord Mayor of York and the Civic Party.more -->
