Service Helpers...

If you are a member of Her Majesties Armed Forces and would like to help your local Squadron, you can volunteer to become a Service Helper.

Service helpers can attend as often or as little as you can/want, with no minimum commitments requirements to fulfil and it may count as a second duty for you.  All you need to do is contact your local Squadron and see if they would like your assistance.  You will then need to seek approval from your Commanding Officer.

Service helpers help to bring in real world experience to the cadets and can offer useful insights into service left that cadets may otherwise not get.  You can get involved in any Squadron activities and may be able to use your military qualifications to assist in these activities.

Our volunteers say they gain a huge sense of achievement from helping young people realise their potential. Why not give it a try?
